Face your fears and build your falling resilience!

Learn to Fall Safely is a six week course in which participants will actively practice falling, tripping, and getting back up. Classes will take place at Aikido of Madison, a stunning martial arts studio with a large padded floor located in the heart of Madison’s east side.

Participants will strengthen and develop their movement skills in four key areas (balance, strength, range, awareness) and learn how to fall safely and resiliently. Because these skills develop over the six weeks, participants should expect to sign up for the full course. The course is taught using simple, easy to understand language and the class is open to all adults who can go down to the floor and get back up independently.

Learn to Fall Safely is particularly suitable for older adults, as well as those who have recently fallen and want to regain their confidence, face their fears and build their falling resilience.
