Curriculum & Learning Design

For embodied learning and creative transformation

In-depth learning experiences: including semester-long courses, immersive programs, and extended residencies. For teams, universities, colleges, and community organizations.

Drawing on decades of interdisciplinary practice, I design courses that re-imagine how learning can bridge multiple forms of intelligence — creative, embodied, systemic, cooperative, cultural, and emotional.

Each course balances academic rigor with experiential engagement, integrating critical and reflective inquiry with narrative and embodied exploration. My approach invites learners to think through movement as much as through language — cultivating curiosity, reflection, and creative agency across disciplines.

Sample Courses

Examples of in-depth curricula developed and delivered across educational and community contexts.

  • Building sustainable, meaningful, and livable creative careers.

A university- or college-level practical course that gives students the tools to navigate and shape their professional futures. The course explores the shifting structures and power dynamics transforming work — from AI and automation to unions, alternative company models, and global trade. Students examine how large-scale systems impact individual careers and develop strategies for resilience and agency in a changing landscape.

Through practical coursework and assignments, participants engage with themes of social capital, networking, values, job hunting, pitching, negotiating, and self-branding — cultivating the confidence and clarity needed to design a career that aligns with their creative and personal integrity.

Ideal for: students across creative and interdisciplinary fields — or anyone seeking to navigate their career with imagination, adaptability, and integrity.

  • The theory and practice of working together.

A university-level course that examines the creative process within collaborative environments. Students explore the theory and practice of collaboration — drawing from readings across creativity studies, social psychology, and cultural theory — while developing practical tools for cooperation, communication, and collective authorship.

Through experiential labs and reflective assignments, students learn techniques for effective teamwork, active listening, and creative negotiation. The course culminates in a multi-media collaborative project, allowing participants to apply their skills within a dynamic, real-world creative process.

Ideal for: students in creative and interdisciplinary programs seeking to deepen their understanding of collaboration as both a personal and professional practice.

  • Exploring creativity as a universal, evolving human capacity.

This course examines creativity as a form of cognition that emerges through the interaction of people, environments, and ideas. Participants investigate how creative thought develops across social, cultural, and technological contexts, and how political and economic systems both shape and are shaped by creative practice.

Through readings, discussion, and experiential inquiry, students explore creativity as a foundational human potential that can be strengthened and expanded. We consider how creative intelligence underpins innovation, cultural and technological evolution, and personal expression. We also explore how cultivating creativity can transform the way we work, live, learn, and relate to each other.

Ideal for: university students, educators, and lifelong learners interested in understanding creativity as a dynamic and adaptive force that links cognition, culture, and change.

  • Tracing how innovation reshapes art, ideas, and ways of seeing.

This course explores the evolving relationship between technology and creativity — from early mechanical innovations and media revolutions to the latest developments in AI and digital culture. Through a mix of historical overview, critical reading, and hands-on experimentation, students examine how each technological shift transforms not only artistic form, but perception, imagination, and cultural possibility.

Alongside theoretical inquiry, participants engage in creative exercises that reimagine past and present technologies as tools for new forms of expression. The course culminates in an original project that reflects on how emerging technologies might redefine the creative process itself.

Ideal for: students and practitioners in the arts, humanities, and technology fields interested in understanding and experimenting with the evolving interplay between creativity and technological innovation.

These courses represent a selection of past and ongoing projects that combine embodied, creative, and interdisciplinary approaches to learning. Each has been designed to balance experiential engagement with critical and reflective inquiry — integrating movement, story, and research over an extended period of time.

In addition to these existing courses, I also collaborate with institutions and organizations to develop new curricula tailored to specific contexts and learning goals. Whether you’re seeking to introduce embodied learning into an existing framework or co-design an entirely new program, we can create something that aligns with your vision and values.
