Move Mindfully, Move Joyfully, Move Authentically
Embodied Authenticity combines somatic techniques, yoga, and dance to encourage participants to focus on what their bodies can do rather than how they look. The class empowers participants to build an intuitive awareness of their bodies — embracing quirks, strengths, and limitations — in order to move in ways that feel authentic, joyful, and rejuvenating.
This course was recently updated by Litza to support a wider range of bodies, ages, and abilities.
Classes are practiced both in silence and with music, developing universal movement skills in four key areas:
Balance
Strength
Range
Awareness
Using simple, accessible language, movement is built from the ground up, following the order of infant kinesthetic development. Breathing, rhythm, and visualization are woven into flowing sequences that connect body and mind.
This low-impact class is suitable for anyone wanting to quiet their mind and reconnect with their body. It is especially supportive for:
Older adults
Women experiencing menopause
New mothers
People who spend long hours sitting
Those recovering from injury
